We live in a time when our daily actions, large and small, our way of life, will define both our future and that of future generations. This not only applies to our own species but to all those with whom we share the earth's habitats.

Businesses and organizations have a key role to play in ensuring sustainable development. Better management of virgin raw materials, increased efficiency throughout the supply chain and improved working conditions are key to this; exactly what we help our customers to do.

Of course, we take our own responsibilities seriously and work actively with sustainability in all its aspects - ecological, social and economic - and therefore donate 2% of our profits to non-profit organizations, which help those who are not as fortunate as ourselves.

We urge and encourage everyone else to do the same. Together we can, and will, make a difference!

We take our own
responsibilities seriously

We have been contributing to the sustainable development of society for three decades through our services, training and IT solutions. We take our own responsibilities seriously and make a difference - this is an explicit demand from our owners.

Our values and our business concept are the foundation of our sustainability work. Long-termism and sustainability are keywords for us in business, deliveries and relationships. It is important to have a clear and explicit focus in order to succeed.

We continually assess which aspects of the three dimensions of sustainability - social, ecological and economic - we have the greatest impact on. And we link our efforts to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

CANEA's sustainability work has a clear link to the three dimensions of sustainability and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030.

We impact the SDGs both directly and indirectly through our operations. Here we describe some of the actions and activities we undertake.

Our social responsibility

  • At least two percent of our annual profits are allocated to non-profit activities that contribute to freedom of expression, equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as fair and sustainable development.
  • We subsidize our services and products to selected non-profit organizations.
  • We offer training and consultancy services in areas such as sustainable business development and systematic work environment management.
  • We actively work on self-awareness around preconceptions to create an even better workplace and better customer deliveries.
  • We offer our employees a wide range of benefits that encourage health and well-being in various ways.

Our ecological responsibility

  • We implement a systematic improvement process, supported by our ISO 14001 certification.
  • We offer our customers training, consulting services and the CANEA ONE IT system to improve the efficiency of their operations, reduce resource consumption and improve environmental work.
  • We strive for climate neutrality by choosing renewable energy and sustainable means of transport for business travel, whenever we can. And we offset our carbon footprint.
  • We are continuously expanding and improving our digital offering, making our services available to more customers and reducing their need to travel
