Content

Six Sigma is a methodology that aims to increase customer satisfaction while improving internal efficiency. The mainstay of the methodology is to reduce quality deficiency costs through fact-based decisions, creating lasting changes and measurable results.

The course also provides you with knowledge in areas such as project management, problem orientation, mapping, and statistical and qualitative analysis. After completing the course, you are expected to assume a driving and leading role in the improvement work of your company.

Description

What prior knowledge is required?

The training requires previously certified competence in Six Sigma equivalent to Green Belt level, either through CANEA, or a CANEA-approved training provider.

Purpose and objectives

The purpose of the course is to give you advanced knowledge in Six Sigma, as well as insights into what it takes to drive complex changes that influence the entire organization.

For whom?

The course is intended for you who are driving and strongly committed to your organization's improvement work. Participants often have roles as improvement managers, project managers, process or business developers and want to deepen their knowledge in project management with improvement methodology.

Other information

Participants are expected to have identified a problem, or an area of improvement, in their business to be carried out as a practical application during the course. This project should have the potential to generate at least SEK 1 million in annual savings for the participant's organization.

Upon completion of the course, with approved test and project reporting, a CANEA Six Sigma Black Belt certificate is obtained.
