Purpose and objectives
The purpose of the course is to give you advanced knowledge of how a project should be run and to prepare you for your PMP® exam.
What prior knowledge is required?
To make the most of the reasoning and models, you need experience in project management and basic project management training. We recommend our "Project Management" course if you lack this prior knowledge.
The training material consists of a course book via the PMI CHOICE training platform where the various lecture moments are documented in detail and through access to digital questions. The course material is authorized by PMI® itself and the course mixes theory reviews with activities, discussions, and short films.
After completing the programme, you have the opportunity to apply for PMP® certification. PMI® has certain prerequisites for writing the exam. Read more about PMI's® prerequisites here.

I was reluctant to take a five-day distance learning course. Looking back, however, I am impressed with how CANEA set up the studio and used technology that made the teaching, discussions, and group exercises work so well. The feeling was as close to in-classroom training as you can get. It was a tough course, but it had a good flow and I can highly recommend both CANEA and the course to anyone who wants to become PMP certified.

Authorized Training Partner
CANEA is approved by the Project Management Institute, PMI, as an "Authorized Training Partner" A.T.P. and thus meets high standards for training materials and lecturers. Most of our lecturers in project management are PMP® certified. Being an A.T.P. means that all our training courses in project management and project control are awarded so-called PDU points (Professional Development Unit). The PDU points are then used to maintain project management certification with PMI.
