    For those who want to become experts and strategic leaders in Lean Six Sigma. This program builds on the Green Belt level and follows ASQ’s Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge, with a focus on advanced statistics, robust design, DFSS, and improvement governance.

    Upon completion of the course with a passing test and project report, a CANEA Six Sigma Black Belt certificate is awarded. 104 PDU points

    Content

    You lead a real improvement project with individual coaching and develop leadership skills in change management, portfolio management, and coaching Green Belts. The program concludes with a project presentation and CANEA Black Belt certification.
    ASQ Black Belt certification requires a separate exam through ASQ.

    Description

    Purpose

    Develop participants into change leaders and methodology experts who can deliverstrategically important results, coach Green Belts, and drive theorganization’s improvement portfolio.

    Target Audience

    Experienced improvement leaders, process and quality managers, business developers, andproject managers responsible for larger improvement initiatives.

    What You Will Learn

    • Advanced DOE, regression, and multivariate analysis (including MANOVA)

    • Response Surface Methodology (RSM) and optimization

    • Advanced SPC and robust process design

    • Lean deep dive, bottleneck analysis, and Theory of Constraints

    • Financial analysis and portfolio management

    • Organizational change management and communication

    • DFSS (DMADV) at an introductory level

    • Risk analysis and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)

    • Coaching Green Belts and managing the project portfolio

    Structure

    20 days of training, delivered in multiple blocks. Participants work on their ownimprovement projects with ongoing coaching. Certification is awarded after asuccessfully completed project and presentation, meeting ASQ requirements.

    • Day 8–9: DOE (basic and advanced)

    • Day 10: Advanced statistics, regression, MANOVA introduction

    • Day 11: Lean deep dive and bottleneck analysis

    • Day 12: Advanced SPC and robust process design

    • Day 13: Financial analysis and project management

    • Day 14: Change management and communication

    • Day 15–16: DFSS and robust design (overview)

    • Day 17: Advanced problem solving and risk analysis

    • Day 18: Simulated DMAIC case

    • Day 19: Practical deep dive and application on participants’ data

    • Day 20: Project presentations and certification

    CANEA is approved by the Project Management Institute, PMI, as an "Authorized Training Partner" A.T.P. and thus meets high requirements for training materials and lecturers. Most of our lecturers in project management are PMP® certified. Being A.T.P. means that all our training in project management and project control provides so-called PDU points (Professional Development Unit). The PDU points are then used to maintain the project management certificate with PMI.
