Our history
CANEA was founded in 1994, and Christer Hellstrand and Erik Westerberg were there from the start. Since then, CANEA has had successive growth even during more economically difficult years.
With our head office in Gothenburg, it was a natural step to open offices in Stockholm early on to be nearer to our customers. The Malmö office was opened during 2010.
From the beginning we offered both consultancy services and training coupled with the original business idea, which was to help our customers to develop and constantly improve their operational management system.
On the training side, we are the selected framework agreement supplier to many leading global organisations - something of which we are proud and evidence that we maintain the highest standards in what we do.
At the end of the 1990s, an important decision was made to also develop powerful IT solutions for project management, document management and work flow management. This meant that we could offer our customers a complete range of products & services for management systems as well as support the development and increased efficiency of the business.
Today CANEA's IT solutions are used globally by thousands of satisfied users.
CANEA's consultancy business is led by employees who themselves are active consultants. "It's all about finding the potential for improvement that exists in all businesses and creating commitment to the change process. We achieve this through both training and practical work in the field. It's about creating sustainable success for our clients," says Christer Hellstrand.
