Chalmers University uses CANEA Projects 2011!

Chalmers University of Technology, Department of Shipping and Marine technology, had communication and usability in focus when choosing to implement a new project and portfolio management solution, CANEA Projects 2011.

Björn Södahl, research coordinator, responsible for the implementation is more than satisfied:

"We evaluated various options before we chose CANEA Project 2011. We see that it has the ability to support our type of business that is characterized by creative diversity, and where effective communication both within projects and between project stakeholders is absolutely crucial. That is also why we begin the introduction within one of our most exciting Nordic cooperation projects with a focus on environmentally-driven development of the maritime cluster around the Kattegat and Skagerrak.

CANEA Projects 2011 means for us that we can both support the project, the individual team members and management with valuable support, while we at the same time collect all project information and make the portfolio overview available in a whole new way.

We have also a special setup with a mixture of permanent staff, project staff and external stakeholders with very different backgrounds. It was therefore important to choose a system that is very easy to use and where you get started quickly.

We now look forward to this proof-of-concept and to implement the system gradually in our business in 2011 and 2012! "
