Efficiency for millions in a property company
The client was Temporent, one of the leading actors in Scandinavia within temporary building rentals. The company had observed increased costs and therefore contacted CANEA. CANEA assisted them with carrying out quality improvements and efficiency measures by mapping critical success factors, processes and quality non-conformity costs.
Streamlining of administrative processes equivalent to SEK 20 million per year
The Swedish National Audit Office needed to reduce its administrative costs in order to use a greater share of resources on its core business. The project's starting point was to increase effectiveness in the administrative processes through eliminating unnecessary or costly operations.
Introduction of process organisation within the manufacturing industry
The client manufactures products for both private individuals and companies. Manufacturing takes place in several locations in Sweden and the products are sold with the support of an international sales organisation. The case study describes how CANEA helped the client with the introduction of a process organisation and the reconstruction of the company's management system.
Project with tools from Lean Six Sigma within GE Healthcare
High quality and short delivery times are the most important components for the validation documents offered as a complement to GE Healthcare's well-known protein separation system. The case study describes how a project with Lean Six Sigma tools increased quality and reduced delivery times.

Process improvement at Amersham
The case study describes how CANEA worked with Amersham, a company within the biotech industry, to streamline the order-to-delivery process at a development unit.
Streamlining of the financial process at Vägverket
Together with Vägverket, CANEA have worked to streamline the financial process. The goal was to reduce costs and increase quality. The first stage dealt with invoice management and the second stage with other financial administration. The result of the collaboration has included the introduction of electronic invoice management and a common service centre. The savings are estimated to be worth many millions of Swedish krona!

Function for project coordination
CANEA worked with Fortifikationsverket, the Swedish National Fortifications Administration, to establish a function for project coordination that gives the management and the General Director a reliable and effective method to control, coordinate, prioritise and review development projects. The project included developing proposals for change to project models, reviewing the project handbook, developing suitable templates and supporting the start-up and establishment of the coordination function.
Project Manager
The assignment included two projects where CANEA were responsible as project manager. The client is one of Sweden's ten largest municipalities. The case study describes how CANEA's project managers implemented the different phases of the project, what the result was and what the customer's representatives thought.
Project models for a company within the energy sector
CANEA helped Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö to develop and streamline its project models (e.g. templates, check lists, tools). CANEA also trained Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö's staff.
Project audits
On several occasions, CANEA has led and coached Volvo Aero's employees with audits and the analysis of various projects. The participants have come from all levels in the organisation; for example project managers, constructors and management.
Project model for a government agency
Together with the client, CANEA produced a project model to support development projects implemented within Banverket's Materials Service. The challenge was to map and identify an easy-to-use and effective project model that the Materials Service could use when developing new and customer adapted services.
Process development for investment projects
CANEA was the project manager for the development of Stena Bulk's project process. The process handles major investment projects. It was important for Stena Bulk to create a prioritisation model in order to focus the resources on the "right" project and to find good tools for steering and reviewing projects.

International logistics is characterised by a chain of events with many links where each part must work for the goods to arrive on time. If the goods to be transported are a whole household of personal effects, the requirement that it is correctly handled in all circumstances is extremely high. To ensure quality and effectiveness in the business and to create the conditions for growth, Alfa Moving chose to process orient its operations.
Construction of the management system in Sweden's biggest government agency - Trafikverket
The case study describes the creation and implementation of a management system for 6000 employees during the construction of Sweden's biggest government agency - Trafikverket.

The case study describes the development of an integrated management system for quality and environment with a simple graphical interface. The management system builds on processes aimed at achieving the strategy of Posten Frimärken, a division of the Swedish post office. The result is visible in the form of clearer goals, responsibilities and roles, and continuous improvement.
Environmental assessment in the telecommunications industry
To be able to use environmental work as a tool to streamline resource use, as an argument during sales, and to strengthen the company's name requires internal credibility and knowledge about the organisation's current environmental impact. Through the environmental assessment led by CANEA, the organisation obtained a flying start for its continued environmental work.
Management systems for information security
By introducing a management system for information security, the company obtains control of its information management in a structured and effective way. The case study describes the introduction of a management system for information security in line with the international standard ISO 17799:2005 within Svensk Adressändring AB, the Swedish post forwarding organisation.
